A man on a white motorbike fired shots at a house on Hattersley Road West in Hattersley, at around 2pm on Saturday 28th October 2017.
Nobody was injured and the gunman has not yet been found. Police investigating the incident say no arrests have been made. Police are treating the shooting as a targeted attack and have been scouring CCTV footage for evidence.

Chief Superintendent Neal Evans, from GMP’s Tameside borough, said: “Thankfully no one was injured during this reckless act which could have had devastating consequences.
We are currently treating it as targeted and there is not believed to be any wider threat to the public, although I can understand community concerns“.
